2024 Grenache

A true expression of Swan Valley heritage, our 2024 Chalari Grenache comes from 69-year-old bush vines, originally planted by Alfredo Sorgiovanni and still nurtured today by Francesco Sorgiovanni. Dry-grown on gravelly loam soil at the foothills of the Darling Scarp, these vines are organically farmed, hand-pruned, and hand-picked—allowing the land to speak through the wine.

This light to medium-bodied Grenache is all about vibrancy and finesse. On the nose, lifted red fruits, a hint of wild herbs, and subtle spice. The palate is bright and juicy, with layers of Campari-like bittersweetness, wild strawberries, and raspberries, wrapped in fine, silky tannins. A touch of spice and earthiness lingers on the finish, giving depth without weight.

Fermented with a gentle touch, this wine celebrates Swan Valley Grenache in its purest form—elegant, expressive, and made for good times. Best served slightly chilled, alongside charcuterie, grilled lamb, or just great conversation.
